SEE THE ROAD
DIFFERENTLY.

Pothole Watch is the web dashboard for AXIOM — a YOLO26n-Seg-powered dashcam pavement assessment system. AXIOM detects potholes in real time, classifies their severity, records GPS coordinates, and generates DPWH/LGU work orders, all from a Raspberry Pi 5 mounted in a regular vehicle.

The Problem

ROADS DON'T JUST WEAR DOWN.
THEY BECOME A RISK.

Potholes damage vehicles, cause accidents, and make roads unsafe for everyone.

Road deterioration is difficult to monitor continuously. Manual inspection is slow, expensive, and often reactive rather than proactive.

Communities need better data to advocate for repairs and plan maintenance.

Our Solution

FROM CAMERA TO INSIGHT.

01

Capture

Dashcam captures road imagery.

02

Detect

Computer vision identifies potholes.

03

Locate

GPS determines where the pothole is.

04

Visualize

System displays detected road damage.

The Researchers

MEET THE TEAM.

Meet the students behind Pothole.watch — bringing together research, technology, design, and problem-solving to address a real-world challenge in our communities.
